Our 20 litre Orange box (TSOO20) is designed for storing and transporting your OO-gauge model railway stock. 

The Box

  • Made from durable plastic, the box is stackable which is ideal for long-term storage in a range of environments. 
  • Handles make the box less cumbersome and easy to transport - perfect for taking your stock to the railway club or to exhibitions. 
  • Also available in ‘White - Extra Strong’ - these boxes feature a reinforced design, making them especially suited to those who are often on the go with their railway stock.
  • (L) 710mm x (W) 440mm x (D) 120mm

The Inserts

  • 18mm top layer and 18mm base layer for extra protection. 
  • 53mm middle layer: this has 10 slots cut into it (slot length 335mm), in which you can safely store your OO-gauge stock by removing the foam slot inserts. These inserts come with pre-cut groves, making them easy to cut to ‘buffer’ your stock to stop it rolling in transit.

Perfect Product For Model Railway Rolling Stock Storage

I saw these storage boxes at a model railway show and instantly realised their potential. I couldn't buy them on the spot as I was travelling by train but ordered 5 boxes on-line when I got home. They arrived in quick time and were immediately put to good use. The foam inserts are perfect for securing and transporting models. I particularly like the option to store complete rakes of coaches or wagons which makes it easy to remove or add trains in fixed formations to my layout.

Bought as a gift. Recipient very pleased with it, good storage and quality. Also stackable, in fact he liked it so much, I've ordered another one! Slight delay in delivery due to supply issues, but I was kept updated, no issues at all, thoroughly recommend.

An excellent product. When i change the loco's from modern to BR days its great not to struggle putting the loco's removed back into their packaging. I have four of these boxes so far and i know the rolling stock is safe in their designated slots. As my fleet continues to grow then so will my storage needs. Highly recommended, especially if you exhibit your layout at shows, good for safe travel.
