Our 20 litre Purple box (TSOO21) is designed for storing and transporting your OO-gauge model railway stock.

The Box

Made from durable plastic, the box is stackable which is ideal for long-term storage in a range of environments.
Handles make the box less cumbersome and easy to transport - perfect for taking your stock to the railway club or to exhibitions.
Also available in ‘White - Extra Strong’ - these boxes feature a reinforced design, making them especially suited to those who are often on the go with their railway stock.

The Inserts

18mm top layer and 18mm base layer for extra protection.
Dual middle layer (23mm and 30mm) makes it easier to remove particularly delicate models and provides overall enhanced access to the 11 slots (slot length 335mm).
Dual layer inserts come with 11 slots, used by removing the foam slot inserts. These inserts come with pre-cut groves, making them easy to cut to ‘buffer’ your stock to stop it rolling in transit.

A brilliant Really Useful Box

I spoke with Mark on Monday to clarify a query I had and was advised that if I placed my order within the next 10 minutes the box would be despatched that day.
Box arrived on Tuesday very well packed in a sturdy made to measure cardboard box.
I opted for the split foam option as my collection is largely steam locomotives rather than diesel with delicate pipe work. The split foam allows you to remove the top layer which then allows easy access to your locomotives with minimal need to dig your fingers down the foam wall. A nice touch is also the inventory list in a clear pouch stuck to the inside of the lid and visible from the outside.
In all an excellent product, reasonably priced, delivered promptly and well packaged, backed by a great personal service from Mark.

Lovely storage boxes

Lovely storage and easy to move about with trains and carriages fit very comfortably no movement at all love them very quick delivery well happy.

Perfect for storing and transporting my OO Locos

I originally purchased the N Gauge version at a show last year and was very happy with the storage solution so have now purchased one for my OO. I will likely need to order a second box for my OO collection. It means everything is in one place and easily accessible and transferable between the house and shed.

Very well designed for safe storage and easy access for locomotives and carriages when not in use. Very good compensation when there is no room for a fiddle yard.
