A long-standing favourite in the model railway calendar

Now in its 61st year, the York Model Railway Show has built a reputation for combining high-quality layouts, respected traders, and a welcoming atmosphere. Its Easter timing makes it a perfect long-weekend visit, whether you’re travelling locally or making a trip of it.

Expect a strong mix of scales, eras and locations, from detailed British steam-era scenes to continental layouts and modern modelling. It’s a show that balances inspiration with practicality, making it just as valuable for ideas as it is for picking up supplies.
