
The Great Electric Train Show 2026 returns to Arena MK in Milton Keynes on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October 2026. Organised by Key Model World, the show brings together more than 30 hand-picked model railway layouts, over 50 trade stands, manufacturers and expert demonstrations for one of the biggest railway modelling weekends of the autumn.

More than 30 hand-picked layouts
The Great Electric Train Show is known for bringing together high-quality layouts from across the UK, covering a wide range of scales, eras and modelling styles.
The 2026 line-up includes layouts such as Deepcar, Cassiobury, Brimfield Works, Shadwell East, Cardiff Canton Depot, Batty Moss, Phoenix Lane, Poplar East and Portcreek, alongside many more.
Making Tracks 6 and other show highlights
One of the headline attractions for 2026 is the debut of Pete Waterman's new Making Tracks 6 layout, depicting Blisworth on the West Coast Main Line in OO gauge.
Visitors can also expect layouts travelling from across the UK and overseas, including R&J Collieries from the Netherlands, alongside manufacturers, specialist retailers and modelling demonstrations throughout the weekend.
More than 50 trade stands
The show also features a substantial trade presence, with major manufacturers and specialist suppliers covering rolling stock, electronics, scenic materials, tools, accessories and more.
Exhibitors include names such as Accurascale, Cavalex Models, Cheltenham Model Centre, DC Kits and a wide variety of other specialist model railway businesses.
