
Trainsporters will be attending the Erith Model Railway Society January Show 2026 at Harris Garrard Academy in Thamesmead. This is one of the bigger winter events in the area, with plenty to see across a wide range of scales and eras, plus a strong mix of trade and society stands.

What to expect
The show is set to feature around 30 layouts, along with a full programme of trade and society support – almost 90 stands in total. Whether you’re after inspiration, specialist parts, scenic materials, or just a really good day out with great layouts running, there’s plenty to keep you busy.

- Single-floor exhibition, fully accessible, with a disabled toilet
Getting there
By rail: Abbey Wood railway station is around a 10–20 minute walk from the venue. If you’d rather not walk, buses run from Abbey Wood station to the venue area.
By car: Use postcode DA18 4DW for sat nav and follow event signage on arrival.
