One of the UK's largest independent model railway exhibitions
Stafford Railway Circle has almost 60 years of experience organising its exhibition, and the Stafford show has grown into a major weekend for railway modellers from across the country.
The 2026 exhibition fills the main Bingley Hall with more than 50 layouts covering a broad mix of scales, gauges, eras and locations. Visitors can expect everything from traditional British railway scenes to narrow gauge, continental and modern-image modelling.
Layouts at Stafford Model Railway Show 2026
The extensive layout line-up includes Albert Rd, Bristol Avon Bridge, Brunswick Yard, Crantock Junction, Devil's Bridge, Freshwater, Hardwick Grange, North Cornwall Brewery, Red Hook Bay, Tidworth, Trelissick, Wantage Tramway, Weekend Yard and many more.
With more than 50 layouts booked, there should be plenty to see throughout the weekend, whether you have a particular scale in mind or simply want some inspiration for your own modelling.
Traders, demonstrations and societies
Stafford also has a particularly strong trade presence, with specialist manufacturers, model shops, suppliers and railway organisations attending the show.
Exhibitors include PECO / Railway Modeller, Digitrains, Footplate, Heljan, LCUT Creative, Malc's Models, Online Models, RAILstuff, Squires Model and Craft Tools, Trains 4 U, TTC Diecast, West Hill Wagon Works and many more.
A range of clubs, societies and demonstrators will also be present, giving visitors the opportunity to ask questions, learn new techniques and meet other railway modellers.
