Trainsporters are thrilled to confirm we’ll be attending The Great Electric Train Show 2025 – one of the biggest events in the UK model railway calendar. Join us on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th October 2025 at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes for a weekend packed with layouts, inspiration, and expert modelling.
About the Show
This year’s show promises to be one of the most exciting yet, with:
- Over 30 inspirational layouts in scales from N to O gauge
- More than 50 quality trade stands, including top brands and manufacturers
- Modelling demonstrations and exclusive product launches
- FREE shuttle bus from Milton Keynes Central station all weekend
- Kids go FREE on Sunday (when accompanied by a paying adult)
Special Layout Features
A major highlight this year is the return of Pete Waterman’s Making Tracks 3 — a stunning 'OO' gauge model of Milton Keynes Central station, returning to its spiritual home. Other notable layouts include:
- Grantham – The Streamliner Years (‘OO’ East Coast Main Line, 1930s)
- Folly Lane (‘OO’, Southern Region, 1990s)
- Beijiao (‘HO’, Final years of Chinese steam)
- Lockbourne, Ohio – travelling all the way from the USA
- A brand-new Hornby Magazine layout build
